Petto 0.7.9~3 · Donut. Prefix commands move into slash commands, an AI that answers questions (BETA), DMs that say where they come from and can be reported to the Petto team, a clearer help, and many fixes.Prefix and slash commands · New
- Slash commands that gather prefix commands as subcommands:
/mod(25 moderation subcommands),/staff,/server,/user,/game,/meand/search, and nine more whose groups are the old commands with all their subcommands:/config,/protect,/greet,/auto,/message,/community,/contrib,/specialand/bot(/config prefix setis!prefix set). The commands that already had subcommands (/level,/automod,/form,/forum,/feedand more) stay as they are. Petto registers 67 commands: 64 slash commands and 3 menus. - Nothing changes with the prefix: every
!word, alias and short alias works as before, and each of these commands also works with the prefix (!mod ban @Friend spam,!game 8ball,!configalone lists its groups). The rules of!disablecommand,!restrictcommandand the permission levels on an old command stop its subcommand, and a rule on the whole command stops all of it. - Permissions: Discord checks the permissions of a whole command, never of one subcommand, so these commands are open and each subcommand asks, when it runs, for the permission of the command it wraps, with the slash form and with the prefix. See Permissions.
/serverand/userhaveicon,bannerandsplash(the picture in every size Discord serves),inrole, summary, stealandbots, and/searchhascomputeandcolor./boosterroleis its own slash command, with the same 23 subcommands as!boosterrole; it is no longer inside/me.- Six slash commands are replaced by their subcommand:
/serverinfo,/userinfo,/avatar,/unban,/purgeand/timeoutare now/server info,/user info,/user avatar,/mod unban,/mod purgeand/mod tempmute, with the same options and permission. The prefix forms work as before. - Everyday words that are also commands (
me,bot, auto, config, messageand a few more) are just chat after the word prefix:petto me ayudasis not a command, while!meand/mework. The wordpettoalways works as a prefix, even if the server chose a prefix of its own. - A mistyped command gets suggestions:
!bnaanswers “Did you mean!ban?” with up to three close commands, and/help command:suggests commands and subcommands while you type.
/ai askand!askanswer your questions with an AI as a short reply that pings nobody. Free members have 10 questions a day, Premium members have no limit, and/ai usageshows how many are left. Questions and answers are never stored.
- Every DM from Petto says where it is from: it starts with a grey
From <server>line (From Pettowhen no server is behind it) and ends with three small buttons: info (the icon, name, ID, creation date and members of the server, in a private message only you see), delete (removes that DM) and report (a form that sends a report to the Petto team only, never to the moderators of the server).
/helpanswers in the channel, like!help, and every option of its menus shows the first sentence of what it does.!help banhas a clearer layout with a menu to jump to any entry, and a button to the page with every command.- Prefix commands answer as a reply to the message that typed them, so you can always tell who ran what.
!bots(/server bots) lists the bots of the server for everybody: name, ID, Verified and when each joined.
- Reddit and Pinterest posts are a clean card with the picture first and a button. Only the animal feeds, the pictures feed and
!animalshow just the picture. Every other feed looks as before. - The default “just posted” line is only for feeds of a creator (YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Bluesky, GitHub and similar). Feeds with their own text keep it exactly as it was.
- A Pinterest board no longer posts an empty card again and again.
- Forms are numbered per server (1, 2, 3…) instead of sharing one counter between all servers, so your first form is number 1.
!form listshows the number and!form open 2works with it.
!forum(also/forum) lets members open help posts in a forum channel with a panel, a form, tags, limits and automation, with staff tools to lock, close, mark as solved and move posts. It is off until a server sets it up, and the dashboard has a Forums page.
- The welcome can wait until the member accepts the server rules, or also finishes Discord’s onboarding, and a server can have a second welcome in its own channel.
- 34 new default designs (animals, fruits, flowers and nature), and long names get smaller or wrap instead of running over the next line.
/level notify test(and/level voice-notify test) shows you your next level-up message exactly as your settings would send it, and saves nothing. The level-up card no longer hides part of the position label.
- Three new settings:
quick_leave_minutes,ignore_botsandsubtract_leaves, with/invites configor the dashboard. The tracker also asks Discord less and no longer credits the wrong invite.
{user.account_age},{user.account_age_days}and{user.joined_age}, and a variable written with other dots, underscores or capitals now works when it can only mean one variable.
- Premium that is over is removed automatically, and a plan that is still running is never touched.
!sendand/message sendneed Manage Messages in the server and in the channel, checked first on every way of sending, and a refusal is private.- Tickets fix themselves: a button pressed late, or on a ticket whose channel is gone, no longer shows an error.
- A timer pings what its text mentions, a wrong choice typed with the prefix tells the valid choices, changing the language in one copy of the setup message updates the others, and a long result such as a mass unban no longer ends in “Something went wrong”.
- A refusal of a staff-only slash command is private, the page buttons of somebody else’s
/topanswer instead of failing, and!pingno longer shows the number of members. - A role that a server deleted no longer breaks verification, join roles, reaction roles, role buttons or level rewards: the other roles are still given, the staff gets one note a day in the log channel, and the verified role is made again when Petto can. A member who passes verification is never blocked by it. The button Verify here in Discord has a shield icon.
Petto 0.7.9~2 · Donut. All the interaction commands in one
/act command, 43 new interactions, !uwu and four small games.Roleplay · New/act: the 36 interaction commands were 36 slash commands. They are now the subcommands of one command,/act, in five groups (love,play,fight,feelandreact;/accionin Spanish and/acaoin Portuguese). Discord allows 100 slash commands, so this leaves room for more. With the prefix nothing changes:!hug @Friendand every short name (!hf,!lol) still work and run the same code, and!disablecommand hugturns off that action only. Petto registers 30 commands with Discord instead of 65.- 43 new actions with their picture, response button and counter:
baka, bored, celebrate, cheers, clap, confused, cool, drool, evillaugh, facepalm, handshake, headbang, love, lurk, mad, nervous, nod, nuzzle, nyah, peck, peek, pinch, pout, scared, shout, shrug, shy, sigh, sip, sleep, slowclap, smack, sneeze, sorry, stare, surprised, sweat, think, thumbsup, tired, woah, yawnandyay. - How the people are named:
/actmentions both people, and the prefix uses names because the message you typed already shows the mention. Nobody is notified either way, and a bot gets the sentence with no counter and no response button. - Pictures: a source that fails is skipped for a minute, the last pictures of each action are kept for an hour, and when there is no picture the message says so in its footer.
!actused to be a short word for!activity; it now belongs to/act, and!activitystill works.
!uwu(also!uwuify) turns a text, or the message you reply to, into uwu speak without breaking mentions, links, code, custom emojis or Markdown. Nobody is pinged, the result fits Discord’s limit and the same text always gives the same result.!coinflip,!wouldyourather,!neverhaveieverand!truthordare, with their questions in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
!messagelinks(also/messagelinks,!msglinks,!linkembed,!mlinks) turns on, for a server, an embed of a message when a member posts its link: the author, the text, the first picture, the other files, stickers, who it replies to, the channel and the time, with a Jump to message button. It is off by default, and it only shows what the member who posted the link can already see: same server only, never an NSFW channel from a channel that is not NSFW, nothing from code,<links>, spoilers or bots, up to 3 links per message and one answer every 3 seconds per channel. It pings nobody and keeps nothing. The switch and the ignored channels are also in the dashboard, under Community.
- Short words for subcommands, with the prefix only:
!isis!image sepia,!irois!image rotate,!tkois!ticket open, and so on for most commands with subcommands (about 770 words, listed by command). They are made once and never change meaning, no word is the name or alias of another command, the rules of!disablecommandand!restrictcommandapply to them, and a word your server already uses for an alias or a custom command wins. - Words that are also everyday words (
is,if,si,um…) work with a symbol prefix, but not after a word prefix:petto is the bestis chat, not!image sepia.
!snipe reactions(!reactionsnipe,!rsnipe) shows the last reaction taken off a message,!snipe clear(!clearsnipe,!csnipe) forgets what is saved for the channel, and!editsnipeand!esnipeare!snipe edited.!snipe 3shows the third from last deleted message. Everything stays in memory: at most 10 entries per channel and kind, the 200 channels used most recently, and nothing older than 24 hours.
- The avatar history is gone because keeping a copy of every avatar used too much storage.
!avatarsand!clear avatarsno longer exist and the History page of the dashboard no longer shows avatars. The history of names and nicknames stays (!names,!nicknames,!clear names|nicknames|all,!profilehistory record).
Petto 0.7.9 · Donut. Feeds open to every server,
!send, buttons that do things in embed codes and Components V2, forms with every part Discord has, new lookups, !stats, a new level-up card and a lighter database.Embeds · New- Buttons with actions in V2 designs: in the dashboard’s V2 editor a button can be a link or an action (blurple, green, grey or red) that gives, takes or toggles a role, or shows a saved embed. It works in rows of buttons and next to a section.
- Feeds are open to every server. They follow accounts of YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Bluesky, Mastodon, Tumblr, Reddit, Steam, GitHub, npm, PyPI, AniList, Pinterest, Letterboxd, Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, Modrinth, any blog by its RSS and the free games of Epic; Premium follows 25 accounts of each platform (Free, 5), and the dashboard has a page for each platform with a search while you type.
- Auto feeds with their own pace, from every 15 minutes to once a day: one Animals feed, pictures by tags, a random song from Deezer, Apple Music and Spotify, Pokémon, Wikipedia and Chess.com.
- YouTube tells Petto when a channel publishes (push), Shorts can be posted as the player, Kick and Twitch live notices go out within a minute with a stand-in picture, and what the bot learned about YouTube survives a restart.
- Embeds:
!send, embed codes as the message of!welcome,!leave,!boostand!dmonjoin, variables of other bots, and buttons with actions in embed codes. - Petto Code: forms with every part Discord has, and
.Fields,.FieldTextand.Filesto read them. - Emojis:
!stealand!jumbofind the emojis of a Components V2 card, and!jumbosays when the server already has the emoji or sticker. - Lookups:
!minecraft,!github,!roblox,!steam,!twitch,!youtube,!lastfm,!deezer,!itunes,!wikipedia,!anilist,!pokemon,!package,!chess,!modrinth,!crypto,!currencyand!animal, with short names and a picture for songs, albums and artists. - Stats and cards:
!statswith a privacy panel, a level-up card in the Petto style (with the avatar decoration and the nameplate),!userinfoand!serverinforedesigned,!usercosmetics, and cards without color except to say yes or no. - XP: two new limits (
daily_xp_capandvoice_alone_percent), and voice XP no longer needs a second person by default. - Servers: what Petto stored for a server it left is deleted 3 days later, the heavy data can live in a second database, the setup of a new server is never put in a public channel, and counters are not turned off for a channel that still exists.
- Fixes: the verification page opens in the language of the server, the URLhaus list is read again,
!massunbanstops when the server is gone, AFK mentions are deleted, and the music stays turned off for now.
Send messages and buttons that do things.
!send sends a message as Petto and embed codes get buttons with actions.Embeds · New!send [#channel] <message>sends text, links, role mentions, an embed code and the pictures, videos or files attached to the command (up to 10). It needs Manage Messages in the channel; pings follow your permissions.- Buttons with actions in embed codes:
{button: green && Accept && role:@Members}gives or takes a role, andembed:rules:dmanswers with a saved embed (only to who clicked, in the channel or in their DMs). They are also in the code generator and in the dashboard’s embed builder. !welcome,!leave,!boostand!dmonjointake an embed code as their message, so the channel and the embed are set in one command.
- Forms with every part Discord has:
cmenu(a menu of choices),cusers, croles, cmentionsandcchannels(pickers),cfile(files to upload),cradio(radio buttons),cchecksandccheck(checkboxes) andcdisplay(a text that informs), each with a label and a description. The answers are in.Fields, the new.FieldText(ready to print) and the new.Files. The Petto Code Generator builds them too.
- Pictures are searched in many places:
!feed add pictures anime roses 30mgives anime roses (Wallhaven and Safebooru for anime; Google, Pixabay, Pexels and Unsplash when the bot has their keys; Openverse and Flickr). Up to four words, safe pictures only.
- Names from other bots work too:
{boost.count},{boost.level},{level.new_rank},{level.user_xp},{guild.members}and more.
Feeds. Petto follows accounts of other services and posts what they publish, from everywhere.Feeds · New
!feed add <platform> <account> [channel]follows YouTube (videos, Shorts and live streams), Twitch and Kick (live), Spotify, Deezer and Apple Music (new releases, and podcast episodes on Spotify), Bluesky, Mastodon, Reddit, Tumblr, Pinterest, Letterboxd, Steam, GitHub releases, Modrinth, npm, PyPI, AniList episodes, any RSS feed, the free games of Epic Games, and the Pokémon, the Wikipedia article, the Chess.com puzzle and pictures of cats and foxes.- YouTube tells Petto by itself (push) when a followed channel publishes, so those notices go out within seconds; if it ever stops working, each channel is looked at every few minutes as before.
- The auto feeds post every X minutes: the Pokémon, Wikipedia, Chess.com, the animals (cats, dogs, foxes, birds, ducks, capybaras and bunnies, or a mix) and a random song can post from every 5 minutes to once a day (
!feed add dog 5m). The animal notices are only the picture. - One feed for all the animals: Animals is a single feed where you pick which ones (cats, dogs, foxes, birds, ducks, capybaras, bunnies), instead of one place each. The old feeds of one animal keep working.
- Pictures by tags: write one to three tags, like
pink, and Petto posts pictures of that from the public tags of Flickr (Pinterest has no public search). Random music now takes songs from Deezer, Apple Music and Spotify. - Modrinth in one feed: one feed can follow the newest projects of several kinds at once (mods, plugins, shaders…), with a New project notice, so it does not use up the places of the limit.
- Music is not only about one artist: playlists (Deezer and Spotify), charts (Deezer by genre, Apple Music by country,
top rock, top colombia), the new albums of a country (Spotify, new colombia) and the link of a song or an album, which follows its artist. Modrinth can follow the newest projects of a kind and Steam the lists of its store (new, top, coming soon). - Live notices go out within a minute or two. Kick and Twitch notices do not wait for the preview of the stream: they go out with a stand-in picture and the same message is edited to the real one when it exists. A new release of music is headed by the same picture as
!deezer. The notice says when the stream began, also for streams scheduled days before. - The limit is for each platform: 5 accounts of each on Free, 25 on Premium.
- Each notice is a card in the color of the platform, with the words you choose above it and a role to mention. A stream is never posted as a video, nothing old is posted when you follow an account, and each notice is posted once.
- The dashboard has a Feeds group with a page for each platform, a search while you type with pictures, a compact window and a preview with the real card. X, Instagram and TikTok are shown locked: they will be Premium only.
- AFK mentions older than 3 days are now deleted automatically, as the Privacy Policy says.
Statistics and shorter commands. A real analysis of your server, with privacy built in, and short names for the lookups.Statistics · New
!stats(also!analyticsand!analysis) is the analysis of a server, as pictures: six numbers with their change against the period before, charts of messages, voice hours and active members, the busiest hours of the week (!stats heatmap), the top channels and members with their share, growth with how long the members who left had stayed, a compare card, and what one member did (!stats @member). Any period from 1 to 180 days.- Privacy first. Only numbers are kept, never what was written. Each person can choose not to be counted with
!stats privacy(and delete what was counted about them), and each server decides what it keeps with!statsconfig: on or off, per-member counts, message content types, and a button to delete every counter. Per-member numbers are kept for 13 months and server totals for 2 years. - The dashboard’s Statistics page has new tabs for the heatmap, growth, compare and the data switches. The Privacy Policy and the Terms have a new section about it.
!statsused to be an alias of!summary.!summarystays as it was.
- The lookups have short names:
!mu(Minecraft user),!guand!gr(GitHub),!ru(Roblox),!yv(YouTube),!lr(Last.fm),!dzt(Deezer),!its(iTunes),!ami(AniList) and more, and!ub,!um,!uj,!ldand!csfor unban, unmute, unjail, lockdown and case. The long names keep working.
- The variable picker of the dashboard now lists every variable of every section (giveaways, clownboard, counters, rollouts, invites, dates, arguments and more), with a sample for each one.
Petto 0.7.8 · Mochi. An AI assistant for tickets (beta), live tickets and better transcripts, media channels, a clownboard and boards with several emojis, repeating timers with an embed, new commands (pages, quotes, image effects), more control over appeals and a dashboard whose cards show what the bot sends.Tickets
- An AI assistant (beta) answers the person who opened a ticket from the instructions and knowledge the owner wrote in the dashboard (Tickets → AI assistant). It can read messages of the server such as its rules, knows the channels, answers with cards that have a Talk to a person button, and stops when a staff member writes or claims the ticket.
- Live tickets in the dashboard: the open tickets, their messages and replies from the staff.
- Transcripts look like Discord and show Petto as it looks in your server, a deleted ticket channel closes its ticket, ratings can be given once, and the default ticket messages are warmer cards with their own emojis.
!pagination(also!pnand!pages) turns one message of Petto into up to 25 pages of saved embeds, embed codes orp2.designs, with buttons to turn them: ◀ Page X/Y ▶, and first, last and a menu to jump to a page from 6 pages on. No reactions needed, and the buttons keep working after a restart.createposts a new one andsettakes a message Petto already sent, thenadd,update,remove,move,view,list,restore,deleteandreset.- Pages are shared (a click turns them for everyone) or private (
--privateormode: each member sees their own copy). - The Embeds page of the dashboard lists them, with Put the buttons back, Stop and Delete message, and builds a new one from saved embeds. 25 paginated messages per server on Free, 50 on Premium.
!quote(also!qand!miq) turns a message into a black and white quote picture with the avatar, the words, the display name and the @username. Reply to a message, or give a message link, a message ID or some text and a member.--color,--lightand--boldchange the look.!image <effect>(also!img) inverts, turns grayscale or sepia, blurs, pixelates, rotates, flips, mirrors, crops into a circle, deep fries or compresses an image, an avatar or a link, and every effect has a shortcut like!blur 20 @member.!colorand!hexalso find the main color of a picture or an avatar.
!dc suggest #cmdsworks: several commands and channels at once, a whole category (!dc category:fun #general),!dc list,!dc enableand!dc clear.- With an
OMNIPLEX_TOKEN, Petto posts its server and member counts on Omniplex so its listing shows it online.
- A timer can send a saved embed (also the newer card designs):
!timer embed <id> <name>, or the Saved embed menu in the dashboard. The text is optional and goes above the embed. - Delete previous: the timer deletes the message it sent the time before, so the channel only has the latest one. Off by default:
!timer previous <id> true. - The interval takes seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years (
600s,2h,1d,2w,1mo,1y); in the dashboard it is a number and a unit. The minimum is 10 minutes.
--previous(or the checkbox in the dashboard): the autoresponder deletes its own previous reply in the channel before sending the new one.
!imgonly(pictures and videos) and!urlonly(links of the sites you choose) keep a channel to what you decide and delete the rest with a notice.- A Media channels page in the dashboard, with a card for each channel.
- The messages with enough 🤡 go to their own channel, like the starboard and the monkeyboard:
!clownboard(also!cwband!clown) and!clownboardconfig. - Its own variables for the saved embed of the reposts:
{clown.count},{clown.emoji},{clown.link},{clown.author},{clown.content}and the rest.
!starboard emoji ⭐ 🍌: up to 5 emojis in each board. A message counts with any of them, and someone who reacts with several counts once.
- Softbans can be appealed: a new punishment type, off until you turn it on. Accepting the appeal clears the case and gives the member an invite back.
- Sanction DMs carry the appeal link always, never, or only for the sanctions you pick, and can use your own line with
{link}and{server}. - Wait before appealing: members wait up to 720 hours after their latest punishment before they can appeal.
!appeals types,!appeals dmlink,!appeals noteand!appeals waitchange these from Discord.
- The caught member gets the server’s sanction DM, and a softbanned member also gets an invite back that works once for 7 days. Both can be turned off on the dashboard or with
!honeypot dm.
- A Boards page for the starboard, the monkeyboard and the clownboard, and a Media channels page, with a card for each and a sample of how it looks.
- Autoresponders, custom commands, repeating timers and sticky messages are cards with a small chat that shows what the bot sends: formatting, emojis, saved embeds and GIFs.
- A new look for the verification panel, and setting up verification no longer times out on big servers.
- Booster roles: turn them on or off, allow gradients and icons, choose what happens when a member stops boosting (keep, take it off or delete), and edit, delete, give or link the role of any member.
- Reputation: who can give, blocked roles, channels, reward roles, set the points of a member, the leaderboard with resets and the recent points.
!rep givefollows these rules. - Invites: roles for invites, the age of a fake join, and bonus or reset for a member, in the Invites tab of Statistics.
- Case Log: the kind buttons always show every kind of case (ban, softban, kick, mute, warn, jail, unban, unmute, unjail) and filter all the cases, not only the latest ones. The search finds a case number (
#17), a member or moderator by ID or mention, words of the reason and names. Older cases, Newest cases and Show more cases keep the filter, the buttons work after arriving from the menu, and the page no longer freezes on slower phones. - Cases can be edited and deleted from the Case Log, the Reviews page lists the latest reviews and can delete one, and Suggestions has a list of blocked members.
!dc suggest #cmdsdid nothing,/channel clearfailed, the verification panel could be posted twice, and the profile history now keeps old avatars for good.
- Screenshots of the dashboard on the pages of each module, a list of the slash commands and who sees them, a new introduction, a page for Media channels, and collapsible sections in the sidebar.

!lockdown, anti-nuke for each protection, AutoMod templates with strikes, lifting sanctions from the dashboard and case search with proof and stats.
- New fonts, softer colors, one color picker that is easier to drag, a smaller save bar, a real status page and a Brand page with the mascot, colors and a download kit.
Tickets
- A clearer Tickets dashboard: a short guide in three steps (type, panel, post), ready designs for the panel (classic, help center with a dropdown, reports, applications, minimal), a panel with the color you choose, a picture, a small footer and a live preview, custom emojis drawn properly, and the settings of each type in groups. New: a limit of open tickets per member for the whole server and staff hours with a note outside them.
!ticket panel editchanges how a panel looks. Also: a reminder for tickets nobody claims,!ticket statsa topic on each ticket channel with its number, type and opener, quick replies for the staff (!quickreply), automatic deletion of closed ticket channels, a summary of tickets in the dashboard a ready set of types to start with and a chart of the last 14 days. A Ticket AI page appears marked Soon (a separate Premium product, nothing works yet). Everything automatic in tickets starts off or at 0.
Counting · New
- A channel where members count one number after the other: a wrong number sends the count back, the same person cannot count twice in a row, sums such as
2*3+1count, the server can keep saves that forgive a mistake, and there is a record and a leaderboard. A role for who gets a number wrong (for a time or until their next right number), a role that moves to the best counter, and alerts that delete themselves. The record reaction is only given every so many numbers (100 by default, or never). A Counting page in the dashboard.
- Members confess without a name: a panel with a button, the
confesscommand, a webhook with the name and picture you choose, a check by the staff before it shows, anonymous replies in a thread, pictures, blocks and a color of your own (green by default). A Confessions page in the dashboard with a preview.
- The votes use the new emojis, and a suggestion with a picture no longer fails when it is edited.
- In the dashboard, Set it up for me makes the roles, a
#verifychannel and the panel in one press, Send the panel now posts it at once, and the switch works without Save. New picture changes the picture of the same message, and the buttons of the picture turn off once the member is verified. The picture and the panel are orange now, not purple.
- Their usual messages are now Components V2 cards in warm colors (green, yellow, red, pink), never purple or blue. Suggestions are colored by status, with a switch to turn it off. The Partner Manager welcome and the invite check no longer fail with members Discord did not have in memory.
- A change shows only the variants that moved, with
TreatmentandControlnames and platforms written with capitals; the button always shows the percentage.
- The status page shows the real state of the website, the dashboard, the database, Discord and the bot, measured live.
- Premium shows for every admin of a server, and a loading screen shows when you go to your servers or open one. The first visit after a restart is faster because the site warms itself up.
- Members suggest with
!suggest, by writing in the suggestions channel or from a button with a form. One vote per person, a thread for each suggestion, and the staff approves, denies (with a reason), considers or marks them as implemented. Fully customizable with a saved design and{suggestion.*}variables. A Suggestions page in the dashboard.
{imgcard:name}puts a card in any message (text, embed, V2 design, embed code, autoresponder, custom command, welcome messages). 24 new fonts, 40 in total. A card can now go inside a Components V2 design.
- A Components V2 mode with the same blocks as the dashboard editor: containers with an accent color and spoiler, text, text with a picture or a button, images with descriptions, separators and button rows (with emojis, and buttons that only show something). It gives a
p2.code for!embed create code:and the dashboard, and pasting ap2.code loads it back without losing anything.

Petto 0.7.5 · Waffle. Birthdays, a monkeyboard, a public leaderboard, profile history and a letters check with the verification in a channel, plus levels with giveaways, rollout alerts, a much faster dashboard and more tools for Petto Code.Birthdays · New
!birthday set, view, upcoming, removeandconfig: members save their birthday and Petto celebrates it with a message at the hour you choose and, if you want, a role for the day. A Birthdays page in the dashboard, and Message look for the messages.
- Petto remembers the avatars, names and nicknames of members.
!avatarsshows every avatar in one picture,!namesand!nicknameslist the rest,!clear avatars|names|nicknames|alldeletes your own and!profilehistory record falsestops the saving. A History page in the dashboard, with a search by ID.
- A second check: members type the letters of a picture, instead of or together with the Cloudflare check (
!verify setup true --method letters). It can also be done inside Discord: a button in the DM shows the picture and a small form takes the letters, with no link (--method discord). The page names the server and speaks English, Spanish or Portuguese. The verification can also live in a channel: pick it in the dashboard (Onboarding) or run!verify channel, and Petto posts a panel with the buttons; the picture is only seen by whoever presses the button.
- The starboard’s opposite, with the monkey:
!monkeyboardreposts the messages that get enough 🐒 in their own channel, with its own emoji, count, reposts and Monkeyboard section in the dashboard.
- A server can turn its ranking into a page of the website (
petto.sbs/lb/<name>), in three languages, with messages and voice, pages, and an optional Join button. Off until the server turns it on.
- The dashboard loads 3 to 16 times faster: no calls to Discord on each page, a Redis cache when the host has one (optional, and Petto stops using it when it is slow), compression and only the open section. Changes to the settings are instant.
- Fewer requests to Discord: grouped logs, the status every 5 minutes and one sticky repost per burst.
- The status and the info log are cards, and shards are counted from 1.
- A list of servers to manage with a search, resets that do not reload the Customize page, and an editable Credits page.
- Partners: the icon comes from the website address, the logo can be an Imgur page or a Discord invite, and the forms work on phones.
- Statistics: animated charts and less blank space on phones.
- Many more messages can have their own name and picture, like the welcome message already could: giveaways, bump, tickets, automod notices, partner welcomes, vote thank-yous, reminders, auto messages and rollout alerts.
- Level rewards (message and voice) and multipliers are edited on the page and saved all together with one button at the end, instead of one by one.
- In Rules and events the Save button is at the end of the page, and the XP events you add or remove are saved with it.
- The card shows A/A mode (an experiment that only measures) and the part reserved for employees only. Neither is added to the share.
- The compact list of
agnonotdevis now the main source; the other copies fill what it lacks. The default Quest cards no longer have the credit line.
- If Petto cannot make its private
petto-setupchannel when it joins, the setup message goes to the system channel, a public channel or a private one where it can write.
- A preset can ask for a message level and/or a voice level to enter, and give extra entries from some levels (the best step reached counts). The dashboard has it in each preset.
- A new default rank card: the avatar on the left, Petto’s colors and a picture as the background.
!level manage syncgives every member the reward roles their levels earned. Members who return get their reward roles back, and a server can wipe the XP of members who leave.- The level-up reply, delete and ping options are next to the announcement in the dashboard.
- It answers the message that made the member level up (or goes on its own), can be deleted after some seconds, and can skip the ping.
- Levels with a message of their own, always announced, and
{level_role}for the reward role just earned. - Variables are found whatever their case and with the names other bots use, so
{user.mention},{ User.Mention }and{mention}work.
- Reward roles for voice levels, apart from the ones for message levels.
- Multipliers for a category too, a base multiplier for the whole server, a mode for several roles (highest, stack or sum) and a cap. They also work in voice.
- A Multipliers page in the dashboard.
- Ignore whole categories (also in voice), roles that earn no XP, and roles that are the only ones allowed.
- The embed is laid out like other level bots, without color and without the streak. A new default rank card.
- The control (variant 0) is never added to the share,
!rollouts listgoes from the newest to the oldest in pages, and the button color says what happened.
!rolloutsand a Rollouts page in the dashboard: choose the kinds and the events, a minimum change, a color and a saved embed (also one for each kind), with a preview.- A queue sends a big day of changes in order, grouped in cards of up to 10, so a channel is never flooded.
- Saved V2 designs can have a button that only shows something, like the change of a rollout.
- Confirmations of sanctions are one line of text with the case number under it.

!.
- The builder can change only some parts of an embed (title, description, footer or color) and keep the rest.
- “Only who used the command” for each button and each reaction.
- “Close the message by its footer”: buttons, menus and reactions stop answering when the footer says a word, like Delivered.
- A new recipe, Requests by reaction: 🦋 claims a request and 🎀, only by who asked, confirms the delivery. No code needed.

!botstatus. - Logging: several permission changes of a channel come in one message.
- The partner replies really ping the manager of the partnership.
- Logging: pinned and unpinned messages are logged again (the log failed with an error each time).
- Dashboard saves go straight to the database first, permission groups stay inside their server, links to petto.sbs show a card in Discord again, and the commands page is up to date.
v0.7.2 “Churro”. A thread and a “how to complete it” message for the Quest alerts, embed codes in more places, and many more events in the logs.Quest alerts
!quests thread onopens a thread under each alert, with its own name, an optional ping of the role inside it and the time it hides itself.- The method: a message written once (a text with the Quest variables, or a saved embed with several texts and pictures) that tells how to complete the Quests, sent in the thread or in a channel, with a ping or without it.

- A button can delete the message it is on (
--delete_message true), react to it (--react 👍) or send its answer in another channel (--send_to #channel).
- petto.sbs/feedback: write ideas, feedback and bugs, vote with like and dislike, comment, and see the state the team gives them. Each post is also published in the Petto server by a second bot, where the reactions count as votes.

{poll.*}variables (see the list). Polls posted before keep their message and only lose the buttons when they close.
- A saved V2 design can be the look of a panel. The dashboard says why a panel could not be posted (missing permissions, empty message) in words, shows if it is posted with a link, and warns when it has no ticket types.
- Polls and tickets have a live preview. Giveaways can be started from the dashboard. The moderation case log shows names, search and filters. Logging tells you when a webhook cannot be created and can send every event to one channel. Reputation, booster and partner lists show names instead of ids.

v0.7.1. Partners, uploads, requests, reviews and profiles, buttons and panels with no code, and saved embeds for sticky messages.Partners

- A name style for Petto in your server, with a gradient, neon or glow, set in the Customize page. It is cleared when Premium ends.
- The Premium page lists image cards and the new limits, the plans are equal and only differ in the number of servers, and the Free to Premium table is clearer.
- Data loads faster, logging out works in the Spanish and Portuguese dashboards, and menu icons no longer disappear when you change section.
- Every version of the website’s changelog has its own page you can share. The bot’s code is public on GitHub under the AGPL-3.0 license and the footer links to it.
- Live counters update again and count the whole member list.
- Bot commands no longer set off autoresponders, and hints show the prefix that was typed.
v0.6.0. The dashboard now speaks Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese (at petto.sbs/es/dash and petto.sbs/pt-br/dash), previews messages like Discord, can send a message to the Embed Builder with a share code and open Embed Builder messages back in the dashboard, and loads faster. Added the full list of embed variables to the dashboard, and Petto Vanity can now be managed from it, with a public status page. Fixed a crash when an embed command was used without a name.
v0.5.1-46. Added persistent malicious-link detection to AutoMod, per-server independent case numbers,
!case list without a required user, and custom command arguments: {args}, {arg1} to {arg10}, {args_from:N}, {arg_count}, {command_name} and {prefix}, with embed-only custom commands.
