Add Petto to your server

Add Petto

Requires Manage Server permission on the server you’re adding it to.

The dashboard

Most of Petto’s configuration can be done without typing a single command, at petto.sbs/dash. Log in with Discord, pick your server, and every module (Moderation, Automation, Tickets, Leveling, Giveaways, Embeds, and more) has its own page.
Everything the dashboard can do, the prefix commands below can also do. Use whichever is faster for you.

First things to configure

1

Set a mute role (optional)

Moderation’s !mute works with Discord’s native timeout by default, no role needed. If you’d rather use a dedicated mute role instead, set it on the dashboard’s General page.
2

Route your logs

Pick channels for each of the 9 logging categories (sanctions, automod, members, messages, voice, roles, channels, invites, tickets) on the Logging page, or with !logs add.
3

Turn on leveling, if you want it

Leveling is off by default. Enable it and set the XP curve from the Leveling page, or !level enable true.
4

Set up onboarding

Welcome/leave/boost messages, a verification gate, and bump reminders all live under Onboarding.
5

Add identity roles, if you need them

Use the Vanity & Guild Tags guide to give roles from Custom Status text, profile values, or Discord Server Tag data.
