Overview

Counters create a channel whose name is refreshed automatically with live server information. Petto updates counters every minute.

Commands

!counters is an alias for !counter. These commands are prefix-only. Removing a counter stops updates but does not delete the channel, so it can be reused or removed manually.

Counter options

Petto supports: members, users_only, bots_only, pending_members, all_channels, text_channels, voice_channels, categories, announcement_channels, staging_channels, boosts, and booster_count. A 10-digit Unix timestamp creates a countdown. For example, !counter add 1798765432 voice displays the remaining time until that timestamp. Every counter is independent and configurable. Its name template supports {option}, {value}, and {remaining}. You can also set a prefix, suffix, parent category, update interval from 60 seconds to 24 hours, and temporarily disable updates without removing the counter.

Channel types

The channel type can be voice, text, category, announce, or stage. voice is recommended because it is compact in the server sidebar.

Dashboard

The Dashboard → Automation → Live counters card provides the same options, creates the channel, lists active counters, and stops an update without deleting the channel.
