A server isn’t showing up in “Manage”

The dashboard only lists servers where Petto is, and where your Discord account has Manage Server or Administrator, or one of your roles was given access to the dashboard (those show the tag Role access). Missing either one hides the server from the list.

A page says I have no access, or Save does nothing

You came in through a role with access by part. That role opens only some parts of the dashboard, and without Can change you can look but not save. Ask whoever manages the server to change the rule. The Dashboard access page itself is only for who manages the server.

Backups say they are under maintenance

The Petto team paused backups for a while. Your backups and your schedule are kept; see Petto Vault.

Changes aren’t saving

Check for a red error banner

Most save failures show an inline error instead of failing silently.

Refresh and try again

Your login session (via Discord OAuth) can expire, a refresh usually re-establishes it.

Try the equivalent command instead

Every dashboard page has a matching command, useful to confirm whether it’s a dashboard issue specifically or the underlying setting itself.

Bot appearance changes aren’t showing in Discord

Nickname/avatar/banner changes from the Customize page are real, applied directly through Discord, but Discord’s own clients cache profile data client-side. Give it a minute, or restart your Discord client if it’s still stale after that.

The embed preview looks different from what actually sends

The dashboard’s Embeds preview draws the message like Discord does, with markdown, links, mentions, emojis and timestamps, using sample data for {variable} tokens because it has no real member or event at preview time. !embed preview fills the variables of the member, the server and the channel with yours; the ones that only exist in an event (a giveaway prize, a ticket number) stay empty there. The real values appear once the bot sends the message, see How Variables Resolve.
