Overview

Petto works in GMT-5, the time of Colombia (it has no daylight saving). This is what it uses for everything that depends on the clock, and it says so when it shows a time.
shi runs !time and Petto answers with the current time in Colombia, GMT-5, zone America/Bogota

In Discord: !time without a zone shows the time Petto uses.

What uses it

  • Days, weeks and months it counts: the activity of !summary and the Statistics page (the day changes at midnight in Colombia), the daily bonus and the weekly and monthly rankings of levels, the daily and weekly partner ranking and the global statistics.
  • Hours: the most active hour of !summary is in GMT-5.
  • The times you write: tomorrow 8pm, mañana 20:00, 2026-10-12 18:00 and a bare time such as 9pm are read as the time of Colombia. Add utc (2026-10-12 18:00 utc) to write it in UTC. Discord timestamps (<t:...>) and unix times are not changed, and every reader sees them in their own time zone.
  • Dates written by Petto: ticket transcripts, quests and {date} / {date.now} use GMT-5.
!time without a zone shows the time of Colombia, and !time <country or zone> any other (aliases !tz and !clock).
shi asks for the time in Japan and Petto answers with the date and time in Asia/Tokyo

In Discord: !time with a country shows the time there.

shi asks for Mars/Olympus and Petto says the country or zone is not valid, with examples

In Discord: a zone that does not exist gets examples of valid ones.

Activity counted before this change stays on the UTC days it was counted in.
