Overview

By default every message that Petto sends comes from Petto. With Message look you can give some of them their own name and picture, so the quest alerts can come from “Quest Hunter”, the welcome message from “Door Greeter” and the sanction messages from “Moderation”. Petto does it with a webhook that it makes in the channel by itself, named Petto messages. You do not paste any link.
The settings need the Manage Server permission. Petto needs Manage Webhooks in the channel. If it cannot make or use the webhook, the message is sent the normal way, so choosing a look never stops a message.

  • The picture is a link that starts with https://.
  • Discord does not accept a webhook name that has discord or clyde in it.
  • reset goes back to Petto’s name and picture, and list shows what is set.

The Message look page of the dashboard has a name and a picture for each kind, and a button to go back to Petto’s look.
