Overview

Sends a direct message to new members the moment they join, independent of the channel welcome message. Useful for rules, an invite to introduce themselves, or anything you don’t want cluttering a public channel.

Commands

!dmonjoin setup [embed] [message]
!dmonjoin status
!dmonjoin test
!dmonjoin disable

!dmonjoin setup --message "Welcome to {server_name}! Check out #rules to get started."

embed takes priority over message if both are set. test DMs yourself a preview.

Members with DMs closed to non-friends simply won’t receive it, there’s no way for the bot to detect or work around this.
