# Uploads

> Count the files posted in upload channels, with a ranking and a welcome.

## Overview

Petto counts the messages with **files** posted in the channels you choose, for each member. The first upload of a member gives the uploader role and sends a welcome.

  The settings need the **Manage Server** permission. `!uploads stats` and `!uploads leaderboard` can be used by everyone. Free servers can have 20 upload channels, Premium 100.

A message counts once, with the number of files it has. The welcome can be text or one of your [saved embeds](/resources/scripting/embeds), and `reset` or `none` goes back to the default.

## Dashboard

The **Uploads** page has the same settings and the ranking of the week.
