# Partners

> Count partnerships, with requirements, a ranking and replies you can change.

## Overview

A **Partner Manager** posts the invite of another server in a partner channel. Petto reads the invite, checks the requirements of your server and, if it passes, counts it and answers.

Requirements are checked in this order:

1. It is not the invite of your own server.
2. The server is not on your blacklist.
3. The server is not marked as NSFW (when you turn that filter on) and has none of your blocked words in its name or description.
4. The server has the minimum number of members.
5. The server is at least the minimum number of days old.
6. You did not partner with that server within the cooldown.

<Note>
  The settings need the **Manage Server** permission. `!partner stats` and `!partner leaderboard` can be used by everyone. The member count of the other server is the approximate number that Discord gives with an invite.
</Note>

## What each one does

| Command | What it does |
| - | - |
| `addchannel` / `removechannel` | The channels where invites are counted. Free servers can have 6, Premium 25 |
| `manager` | The role of the Partner Managers. Empty counts anyone who posts in a partner channel |
| `requirements` | Minimum members, minimum age of the server in days, the cooldown as a time (`3d 4h`, `12h`, `30m`, or `none`), whether a refused message is kept, an emoji to react with when it counts (`none` removes it), `block_nsfw` to refuse servers that Discord marks as NSFW, and `keywords`, up to 10 words separated by commas that disqualify a server when they are in its name or description (`none` removes them) |
| `welcomechannel` | Where a new Partner Manager is welcomed. It is sent when `welcome` is used and also when someone is given the manager role |
| `blacklist` | Servers that can never be a partner, by their ID |
| `response` | Changes one of the replies, with text or one of your [saved embeds](/resources/scripting/embeds). `reset` goes back to the default |
| `welcome` | Gives the manager role to a member and sends the welcome |

## The replies

Each reply can be plain text with [variables](/resources/scripting/variables) or a saved embed (a V2 design too). A missing or broken one sends the default text.

| Reply | When it is sent |
| - | - |
| `completed` | The partnership is counted |
| `cooldown` | You partnered with that server too recently |
| `invalid_invite` | The invite is not valid or has expired |
| `member_requirement` | The server has fewer members than needed |
| `blacklisted` | The server is on the blacklist |
| `self_partner` | The invite is for your own server |
| `age_requirement` | The server is too new |
| `nsfw_blocked` | The server is marked as NSFW and you refuse those |
| `keyword_blocked` | The server has one of your blocked words |
| `manager_welcome` | `!partnerconfig welcome` |

## Dashboard

The **Partners** page of the dashboard has the same settings, the 10 replies, the blacklist and the numbers of the week and of all time.
