# VoiceMaster

> Temporary voice channels that members create and control themselves.

## Overview

VoiceMaster gives every member their own voice channel. Members join a **creator channel**, Petto makes a temporary channel for them, moves them into it, and deletes it when nobody (no human) is left in it. The owner of the channel controls it with a panel of buttons, or with commands.

Setting it up needs **Manage Server**. Petto needs **Manage Channels** and **Move Members**.

| Option | What it does |
| - | - |
| `creator` | The voice channel members join to get their own channel. |
| `panel` | The text channel where Petto posts the control panel. |
| `category` | Where the temporary channels are created. Without one, they go in the same category as the creator channel. |
| `limit` | The default limit of people in a new channel. `0` means unlimited. |
| `name` | The name of each channel. It can use `{user}`, `{user.name}` and `{user.display_name}`. |

`info` shows the configuration and how many temporary channels are active. `panel` posts the control panel again (for example if it was deleted), and `disable` turns VoiceMaster off and removes the panel.

## Controlling your channel

The panel has a button for every action below, and each one is also a command. Only the **owner** of the temporary channel can use them (except `claim`), and you have to be inside the channel.

| Action | What it does |
| - | - |
| `lock` / `unlock` | Stops or allows everyone from joining your channel. |
| `ghost` / `reveal` | Hides your channel from the channel list, or shows it again. |
| `claim` | Takes over a channel whose owner left. It only works when the owner is no longer in it. |
| `rename` | Changes the channel name (up to 100 characters). |
| `limit` | Sets how many people fit, from 0 (unlimited) to 99. |
| `permit` | Lets a member join even if the channel is locked. |
| `reject` | Blocks a member from joining. |
| `disconnect` | Kicks a member out of your channel. You cannot disconnect yourself. |
| `transfer` | Gives the channel to another member. |
| `activity` | Creates a Watch Together invite for your channel. |
| `delete` | Deletes your channel. |
